UMMAXX Officially announces UMMAXX 10: Collision Course featuring four title fights

Saturday, March 27th at the Cuyahoga Convention Center

Cleveland, OH (USA) Maximus Productions and UMMAXX CEO Tom Yerace are pleased to announce the return of UMMAXX to NE Ohio with the official release of UMMAXX 10 “Collision Course”. The Pro-Am event takes place Saturday, March 27th at the Cuyahoga Convention Center with Four Title Fights, plus the return of rising Heavyweight “The Juggernaut” Jason Riley.  

UMMAXX 10 “Collision Course” will feature some of the best fighters from NE Ohio, including Middleweight Matt Masterson (6-2), Lightweight Torrance “The Tyrant” Taylor (7-6), Featherweight Paul “St8tta” Compton (2-2) and Bantamweight Ricky “The Riot Maker” Garret (4-2).
“We at UMMAXX are extremely excited to invade Cleveland, one of the MMA hotbeds for the first time,” adds Yerace. “With Four Title Fights and the return of “The Juggernaut” Jason Riley at UMMAXX 10, we foresee a bright future in Cleveland.”

Cody "The Wolverine" Stevens at UMMAXX 9

Cody "The Wolverine" Stevens signs three fight deal with UMMAXX. Makes return at UMMAXX 9 "Proving Ground".

Saturday, November 21st at the Medina Community Center.

Cleveland, OH (USA) Maximus Productions and UMMAXX CEO Tom Yerace added yet another fighter to the UMMAXX 9 "Proving Ground" lineup announcing that NAAFS Featherweight Champion Cody "The Wolverine" Stevens (3-0) will return to the cage following more than a year layoff.

Stevens last competed in August of 2008, stopping Donny "Eagle Eye" Walker in a Featherweight Championship Matchup. Stevens will fight follow featherweight Jay McClean (3-1) from Gillett MMA in Boston.

"In my estimation Cody Stevens is one of the most feared 145lb fighters in the area." says Yerace. "Stevens has the talent to stop you or submit you."

Stevens fights out of the famed Fight Farm in Mansfield, Ohio.

"Pound for pound Stevens is one of the most dynamic 145lb MMA Fighters in the country today," adds UMMAXX Vice President and Matchmaker Dee Daniels. "

UMMAXX 9 "Proving Ground" is headlined by a UMMAXX Heavyweight Title Fight between "Cujo" Joe McCall (7-1) and Patrick Barrentine (10-3) along with a UMMAXX Heavyweight No. 1 contender fight between Jason Riley (6-1) and Joel Wyatt (7-1).

Also featured on the card at UMMAXX 9 is UMMAXX Welterweight Champion Tiawan Howard (8-3), plus Strikeforce veteran Torrance "The Tyrant" Taylor (6-6) and UFC veteran Ryan "The Lion" Madigan (5-2).

Joe McCall fights for Heavyweight Title

MMA Heavyweight "Cujo" Joe McCall fights for UMMAXX Heavyweight Title. McCall headlines UMMAXX 9 "Proving Ground" November 21st at Medina Community Center in UMMAXX Title Fight vs Patrick Barrentine.

Cleveland, OH (USA) Maximus Productions and UMMAXX CEO Tom Yerace are pleased to announce MMA Heavyweight "Cujo" Joe McCall (7-1) will fight for the UMMAXX Heavyweight Title at UMAXX 9 "Proving Ground" Saturday, November 21st at the Medina Community Center. McCall will headline the event, facing submission ace Patrick Barrentine (9-4) for the UMMAXX Heavyweight Title.

McCall recently stopped UFC veteran Josh "Heavy" Hendricks in the first round at the NAAFS: Rock N Rumble 3 in August. "Cujo" has won four of his seven fights via TKO.

"Joe McCall is one of the most dangerous heavyweights in the country." says UMMAXX CEO Tom Yerace. "He is one or two fights away from fighting for the UFC."

"Training with Matt Hughes at the H.I.T. squad is going to put McCall to the next level," adds Yerace. "When you train with "Ruthless" Robbie Lawler and Hughes daily, you are going to be dangerous."

McCall's opponent, Patrick Barrentine, has won three fights in a row, with eight of his victories coming by way of submission.

"McCall is such a deadly striker on his feet," remarks UMMAXX commentator Jordan Sherwood.

Also slated for UMMAXX 9 "Proving Ground" is the UMMAXX Heavyweight debut of Jason Riley (6-2), the former NAAFS Champion, in a No. 1 contender fight against undefeated prospect Joel Wyatt (5-0).

UMMAXX signs Heavyweight Jason Riley to Three Fight Deal Riley to co-headline UMMAXX 9 "Proving Ground" Saturday, November 21st at Medina Community Center.

Cleveland, OH (USA) Maximus Productions and UMMAXX CEO Tom Yerace are pleased to announce the signing of MMA Heavyweight Jason Riley to a three fight deal. Riley (6-2) will make his UMMAXX debut in the co-main event of UMMAXX 9 "Proving Ground" Saturday, November 21st at the Medina Community Center against undefeated Heavyweight Joel Wyatt (5-0) of MMA Institute out of Virginia.

Riley is the current NAAFS Heavyweight Champion and recently headlined Adrenaline MMA 4 against former UFC Heavyweight Champion Tim Sylvia.

"Jason Riley is one of the most recognizable fighters across the country," commented Tom Yerace.

Riley joins UMMAXX after on 8-0 record as an amateur and five professional stoppage wins, including 1st round TKO's over Justin Black and Shane Lightle.

"Obviously Riley is a big fish in the heavyweight division," says UMMAXX Director of Operations and UFC veteran Josh "Heavy" Hendricks. "He's is a very accomplished fighter and he comes from a great gym."
